In 2004 Doris Davis wrote this story to explain her cancer diagnoses to her grandchildren, three years later her husband found the story and realized they needed to do something with it. Their son provided the illustrations and the story became a book for parents and grandparents to use in explaining their cancer diagnoses to children and grandchildren. Funeral Divas Members interested in reaching out to newly diagnosed cancer patients in their communities with this book may request ten books at no cost. The books will be mailed to the funeral home the Funeral Diva Member is associated with.
